Scholarships to Two Outstanding Dancers at YAGP World Finals, Apr 2023

At the Youth American Grand Prix (YAGP) World Finals in Apr 2023, V4C provided ballet scholarships to two outstanding ballet dancers, Julia Xavier (Junior) from Brazil and Daniel Alejandro Guzman (Senior) from Venezuela, through Audience Choice Award. They each received $1000 cash prize from V4C. The Audience Choice Award was offered this year by V4C based on online votes on YAGP social media from all the participants of the YAGP 2023 season finals. Julia, 13, who has started ballet training since age 2 at Ballet Vera Bublitz in Brazil, achieved classical ballet top 24 at junior category. Daniel, started his ballet training at age 12 at Ballet de la Mar in Porlamar, Margarita Island, Venezuela, moved to Florida, US, in February 2023 and is now receiving training with ballet instructor, German Dager, at Fort Lauderdale Youth Ballet. Daniel achieved contemporary ballet 1st Place at senior category. Huge thanks to YAGP for offering this wonderful opportunity to Madeleine and her V4C organization to make impacts on these dancers’ lives. V4C is committed to continue to offer annual cash scholarships to the talented YAGP season finalists for the future.

Testimonials

Good afternoon Madeleine!  Daniel received the scholarship from your organization. He says that THANK YOU VERY MUCH💗. He cashed it and went straight to get his new phone. He didn't have a good phone and wasn’t able to video his rehearsals with good quality. When he went to competitions, his old phone didn't make any good videos nor memories! So thanks to the generous scholarship from your V4C, he's now able to video his dance with great quality and take amazing pictures to post! Again thank you and V4C so much!
