I live in a rural area in E Texas, which is 120 miles away from The Dallas Conservatory (TDC)..... My parents have to drive me back and forth, six days a week, for me to be able to get my dance training at TDC, my dream dance school. This has increased our travel expenses significantly, as well as wear and tear on our vehicles. With these added expenses, my family struggles to afford the cost of gas, dance tuitions and competition fees. I hope to be able to use this scholarship to help me with the expenses for competing at Youth America Grand Prix (YAGP) in Dallas and Houston next year. The opportunity to compete both classical variation and contemporary solo at YAGP is a dream come true for me.....
