V4C Chapters Supporting TR Hoover Community Center Children’s After-School and Summer Programs Since Early 2023

Since early spring through summer of 2023, the members from V4C and several V4C local chapters, including Lake Highlands High School Chapter, Parish Episcopal School Chapter, and Booker T. Washington High School Chapter, all participated in the weekly volunteer services at T. R. Hoover South Dallas Community Center to support their After-School Program and Youth Empowerment Summer Program to teach children music theory and to play keyboard. V4C donated Five keyboards ($800 Value), providing the center with the best equipment for these children to learn keyboard performance, hoping to offer opportunities that may positively change the trajectory of these children’s future.
